José Enrique Montes Hernandez
Born in El Salvador. Raised in Canada. Lived in the Dominican Republic, Taiwan, and now Guatemala. I was six years old when my family left. Since then I've lived in too many places to explain at a party.
I work as a photographer and curator, street photography mostly, documentary, the stuff between the cracks. I write about migration, identity, and the people who hold things together without anyone noticing.
Collaborator at HUMANOS.zine — I interview Latin artists living far from where they started.
Like Coca Cola, you can always find me somewhere.
